The Envelopes Type of indicators include the following
Bollinger Bands consist of three lines. The middle band is a simple moving average of the typical price (TP). The upper and lower bands are F standard deviations (generally 2) above and below the middle band. The bands widen and narrow when the volatility of the price is higher or lower, respectively.
The Envelope Percent indicator creates plus and minus bands around series of numbers, based on a percentage of the series. A common use is creating support/resistance bands around the close.
The Exponential Moving Average Envelope indicator creates plus and minus bands around series of numbers, based on a percentage of the series. For the ExpMAEnvelope, an Exponential Moving average of the input series is used. A common use is creating support/resistance bands.
The Least Squares Moving Average Envelope indicator creates plus and minus bands around series of numbers, based on a percentage of the series. For the LSMAEnvelope, a Least Squares Moving average of the input series is used. A common use is creating support/resistance bands.
